My apolagise for not making it clear that Wordpress ruling only applies to their Free Blogs and not to Wordpress pages that are hosted elsewhere. The ruling is to prevent spam blogs clogging their servers with crap basically.

Warning To Affiliate Marketing Bloggers From Wordpress!
I have just found out that wordpress are having a clamp down on Bloggers who`s purpose/intention is to drive traffic to their affiliate programs, and also on those using SEO.
In the Words of Wordpress:
SEO blogs: Blogs that are written for search engines instead of humans. These blogs are dedicated to trying to fool Google and other search engines into ranking them highly. WordPress.com is not meant for this type of activity.

Marketing For Newbies - The Problem Is "Who Do You Trust?" And "What Do You Believe?"
Here is something very, very, very important... everything you need to make money online or offline is available to you right now... the problem is, "who do you trust?" and "what do you believe?". (Dave Vallieres)
Before reading this please just try and Relax, you`ve been conditioned to think this is a race, its not, well not one you can win at the moment. "Time is money" they say, well it is, "only when you know how to make it!", I say. So just Relax)
(Note: There have been countless articles written on information overload I am sure, and here's another one, but in my opinion you can`t have enough information where this subject is concerned and if I can reduce that 98% Internet marketing failure rate statistic by just 0.5% then I will be a happy man, and probably very rich.
The Lights Came On
When I very first read the statement above, (Here is something very, very, very important...) a sudden rush of realization swept across me. It was almost like I had been awoken from a dream like state and everything became so much clearer in my mind as to what I had been doing , or not doing on the Internet marketing scene for the past 18 months.
Now whether this is some sort of trigger statement for me or not I don`t know, but it certainly woke something in me that said "stop spending/ wasting any more money you`ve got enough tools and information", and that has proved to be true without question, the problem was I hadn't`t read even half of it and the other half I wasn't`t using properly!!
To Much Info Man!!
Now I can only speak for myself (and all the other novice marketers I observe in forums, with seemingly the same challenges) but that dream like state I referred to early I now Identify as information overload at its most extreme, where you have gone past the state of complete and utter confusion, anger and frustration, to find yourself in a trance almost comatose and numbed to the barrage and onslaught of Report, scheme, scam, OTO, auto responder,seo reports, list building, blah, blah, blah and next must have tool of the trade.
Now at a guess, if you have been around for more than three months and you have joined a few membership sites and downloaded the free stuff, and the Ezines memberships and downloaded all the free stuff there as well as what you`ve picked up and bought along the way, you`ve got more than enough to be getting on with.
How much of it have you read?
Not much of it, "all the way through" I bet. Try to read it all! even if its garbage, at least then you Will be able to identify whats garbage in the future. "Now I didn't`t say act on what you read", not just yet anyway.
The statement above reads: "who do you trust?" and "what do you believe?". Leading questions I guess, so how are we going to answer them. Well when I started in this business I was up for anything really and being the gullible soul that I am. I trusted just about any one with a mesmerizing sales page with promises of fortunes being made while I slept, auto-pilot profits happening whilst just sitting around in my pajamas`s playing with the kids, coffers swelling as I walked along a sun kissed beach in the Bahama`s....La, La, La, doo, dee, doo..... "HELLO..., WAKE UP...., ITS TIME TO TAKE YOUR PILLS"!!! What was I thinking (hindsight is such a wonderful thing, "lol").
TRUST
Finding someone you can trust and respect has got to be one of the hardest things to do online. Firstly we are denied (in most cases) that instant opportunity to gather a Visual first impression of someone, their "body language", all we have are words or possibly a voice. Secondly, (and this makes it all the harder) we all have different expectations of what trust and respect for each other entails.
In this area of trust I guess we can only rely on our gut feelings or what others have to say about a person. What respect do other people give a certain person and how much do they trust his/her opinions or advice.The best method I find to try and determine how trustworthy someone might be, are Internet marketing forums, there are loads and loads of them about. Join a few ask as many questions as you like, never mind how trivial you may think your questions are just keep asking. If you have read something in a sales page that someone has written and you liked what was being said then, "Check Them Out In The Forums".
A little note here: if your getting gushing endorsements of a person and whatever program, then check to see if the respondent is a member of that program (affiliate) they may well be telling the truth, still get some more opinions. The more the merrier and the easier your decision (Hopefully).
Now having said all that! you are unlikely to find me, as I`m just emerging from the pit of Internet hell like a fiery Phoenix from the flame to save poor souls like my self from a similar fate, where unlike me they may not return.(lol)
My intention in writing this article was to clear some of the confusion, and not add to it, so I am going to wrap this up with a few bullet pointers that may or may not help. I hope you realise my intention is well meant.
Relax; This is extremely important to your Online experience, and if this is where you intend to make your fortune then I suggest you, relax and enjoy to the best of your ability. take regular breaks and when you lose a 2,000 word article like I did 10 minutes ago, you need to take deep breaths and move away from the screen, AAARRRGGGHHHH. That's better. It happened, Its true.
Educate Yourself & Become Familiar: If your earnest about making money online to the degree`s shown in the sales pages, then I earnestly suggest you start learn some basic web design skills! Now they are not essential to make money online, but boy does a bit of basic HTML come in handy for getting a page to look how you want it. The more tech knowledge you have the less frustrating things are ,the less time your waiting on emails for answers, the more time and money you save.. the list go`s on.
Revenue;
How and in which way, are we gonna make our fortune? Now that's for you to decide. If your already hooked up to a program and its not going well, then badger their support team for help. Remember this; "you need to make the effort" to ask the right questions and remember no question is to dumb. If you need an answer ask until you get it.
A big problem with a lot of programmes is your being sponsored by people who signed up a day or two before you and are likely to be as green as you, so chances are your not even going to get an answer , or not for a week or so until your sponsor has contacted his sponsor and so on. My advice steer clear of program's that everyone else is doing. Just go through the Traffic exchanges you will soon weed them out. Take a look around there are many many more ways to earn online.
Routine;
This if you get it right will ensure your success, and the more time efficient you are, then the happier, richer and more successful you will be. Now that's not to say its got to be regimental no bending or swaying, but to be kept as close to as possible at all times. Trust me I have this on very good authority. Try it on any single problem in your life, deal with it on a regular basis to the best of your ability and "viola", its no longer a problem its just something you do, plus the psychological benefits are worth their weight in gold. If you don`t get your priorities right in the first instance, don`t worry it will come. The point is your addressing a routine. Without one your gonna struggle big style.
Distractions;
Avoid them at all costs! In the early days its important to be able to concentrate, its bad enough trying to sort the wheat from the chaff as far as Marketing information goes especially when your not sure what your looking at, let alone the kids screaming and the dog barking in the background. So do your level best to find quite times, work it into your routine, as you learn more and are more familiar with your business your concentration levels need not be so great and you can Relax while all hell is breaking lose around you.. "YOU GOT MAIL" this little demon will rob you of every spare minute you got and most of those that are not spare.
Maybe its only me, but the minute I know I`ve got mail "I have to look".. "follow the links"... and that's it I`m off into cyber space around the world in less than 80 clicks and for what.
SUGGESTION unless your expecting an extremely important email, close your outlook express or whatever and delegate it a specific time in your routine
I Know I`ve left a lot of these topics open ended but that's purely because they have so many more facet`s to them I would do you an injustice if I where to skim over them.
I guess my message to you is; If your going to pursue an Internet fortune and I sincerely hope you do, don`t rush in blindly. Take your time to investigate whats out there, because it can be a bit of a mine field.
I know through some bitter experiences,(financially) that all the HYPE is just that and the real, money for me, is to be made with calmer and more subtle tactics.
One more thing before I go and that is if your looking to make a fortune to get you out of financial difficulty, i would be very careful. Desperation as a driving motive is in my experience a dangerous one. I akin it to the gambler who is looking to the next big win,to sort his life out yet is blinded to his mounting debt.

Michael Badger Update
For those of you who are interested in the Michael Badger Free income opportunity, I`m afraid the doors has been closed. Well for the time being any way.

This Guy Got Some Front!!

I just came across a new marketing campaign that Michael Badger has put together, and I have to say it is one of the most innovative campaigns I have seen in a very long time, not to mention one of the most brazen promotions I witnessed in my short marketing career. I have a feeling that this thing is going to take off and turn into a huge viral explosion - one that we will all remember for a long time!
What works about it is that there is a very compelling hook - he is offering to GIVE you a free monthly income with no buying, selling or recruiting. At first I thought that it was just another hyped up website, but after I read only a few lines of the copy on the main page, I realized that this one might actually be different.
Michael very quickly gets into the nuts and bolts of exactly how he is going to accomplish the task of giving so many people a monthly income. It is basically a profit sharing model. He is going to be launching a new membership site offering small business owners and marketers a service in a few months. It is from that service that he will allocate funds to be divided among a pool of people. All you have to do to be part of the pool is sign up now to receive his newsletter and announcements about the upcoming service.
And that's it - you just sign up and you will receive part of his profits.
It's a pretty cool idea really. In essence what he has done is taken the portion of his budget that would have gone into advertising and put it into getting the word out about his service in a big way.

At first I thought that it was just another hyped up website, but after I read only a few lines of the copy on the main page, I realized that this one might actually be different.
Michael very quickly gets into the nuts and bolts of exactly how he is going to accomplish the task of giving so many people a monthly income. It is basically a profit sharing model. He is going to be launching a new membership site offering small business owners and marketers a service in a few months. It is from that service that he will allocate funds to be divided among a pool of people. All you have to do to be part of the pool is sign up now to receive his newsletter and announcements about the upcoming service.

It's a pretty cool idea really. In essence what he has done is taken the portion of his budget that would have gone into advertising and put it into getting the word out about his service in a big way.
